Back to valve clearence Forward to glasses![]() The seat belts. Between number 1 and number 3 a reinforcing plate for the lower fastening spot of the front belts can be seen. This plate is screwed on to the floor plate, whereby the associated nuts at the lower surface of this floor plate are welded. With the disassembly I tore off one of these screws, because I did not know that... ![]() The associated fixing bolts + wearing parts in large exposure. ![]() The front belts can only be pulled out if held in horizontal position. The reason for this lies in a small metal ball, which releases a barrier, as soon as the duck comes into inclination. Thus the belt is locked when the 2CV is accidential turning over - hopefully this will never occure. If you parked your vehicle in large inclination, it can also happen that you can't pull the belts out. ![]() Here is the safety device again in the large size. ![]() Attach the front seat harness crosswise i.e. the lock for the curbside is bolted on the driver's side. ![]() The rear belts. ![]() The lower fastening spots on the driver's side.
