The first 2.000km were driven, the run-in period was finished and now the catalytic converter should be mounted.

The changes at the elbow union spider are to be seen here. Two tubes have to be welded here. They rise approx. 3mm into the pipe. The Lamda probe is the sensor for the Microcomputer. In order to fasten it, a nut of the quantity M18 (marked by the green arrow) must be welded. The welding seams must be absolutely close. Before the installation of the probe lubricate the thread with copper paste (no normal grease)!

2CV catalytic converter valve
The syphons intake additional air, arranged by a valve, which is fastened to the air cleaner.

2CV catalytic converter tubes
The tubes at the albow union are connected with the valve through a T-adapter.

2CV catalytic converter front silencer
The catalyst cartridges with front silencer and fastening clips.

I had to strip the clip of the driver's side somewhat, since this would not have fit otherwise.

2CV catalytic converter microcontroller
The Microcomputer with the connections for the Lamda probe, the air valve and for supply voltage. Three light emitting diodes (Yellow=Power on, Red=Valve and Green=Lamda probe) give information about the correct function mode.
I attached it at the interior, in order to be able to keep an eye on it sometimes.
I've read about achievement losses and bad function mode of the catalyst, but cannot confirm that up to now. I will publish my relevant experiences here at given time.
